Just days before their scheduled guest appearances on Vans Warped Tour, one of the songs, “Infection”, was “leaked” on Soundcloud. Coincidence? I think not. Caleb Shomo (vocals) even made a joke about it being leaked at the Tinley Park date of Warped. It was clearly intentional. Written by Jade Marshall Sleeping With Sirens released a single not that long ago named “Another Day”. The band consist of Kellin Quinn (vocalist), Gabe Barham (drums), Jack Fowler (lead guitar), Nick Martin (rhythm guitar), Justin Hills (bass). The single came out on July 6, 2018.  My overall thoughts on the single is it’s great. The whole song stood out because it’s a real great song. With a beat that is comforting and lyrics that sooth. It’s a real bop. The lyrics mean something to the band, so it gives the song a special twist. “What am I gonna do?/ If I’m not fooling anyone but me?/ What am I gonna say?/ If I chose to leave it all and run away?”. Vans Warped Tour has been going on for almost twenty five years. The tour has sported some of the biggest names in music, including popular artists such as Eminem and Katy Perry and those popular in the alternative scene, such as My Chemical Romance and Fall Out Boy. Over the years, Warped Tour has helped hundreds of bands start out and climb their way to the top of the alternative scene. The tour hosts plenty of different music genres, so there is likely to be at least one act for everyone. The name can be off-putting if you know Bluegrass and are expecting them to sound like your traditional country folk music, though I can assure you they are far from traditional. Written by Jade Marshall  A new single “Pressure” by Tyler Carter was released on June 28th. My overall opinion of this song is that it's a really good release. The song is great and it is such a beautiful song in a strange yet wonderful way, it’s one of a kind. The beginning of the song stood out, because you hardly hear the beat in the background but you hear his voice quite strongly, it’s really beautiful. Previously, Johnnie had two EPs, Not So Perfect (2015) and Lost (2016). Both albums had more of an acoustic sound to it, like something you would find on Youtube, which makes total sense. They really weren’t bad albums in all honesty. I remember even buying Not So Perfect on CD, I loved it so much. But, I sort of fell out of Johnnie, his music and his channel. Why? I don’t really know. So, when I heard that he has new music coming out, I thought I’d give it another chance and see if I fall back in love or not. Well, here we are. Brad had contacted me on Instagram asking me to just check out his music. I did and I immediately knew I had to feature this guy. The way he blends country with rock or electro with pop is incredible to me. There’s not too many bands/artist I know that can blend these genres and make it still sound good. No matter what you’re in to, Brad will likely have something for you. I mean country and rock? In one song? What?! I’m not a country fan, so when I saw that “Riding the Rails” and “Red Light” had a country sound to it, I was iffy on whether or not I would like these particular songs or even any of the music.
